The artwork in YĀTRĀ Spa considers the minimalist colours of the interior palette by including softer tones, textures, and organic movement inspired by nature. We include a selection of artists working in different materials that, as a collection, come together to tell a cohesive story of materiality and craftsmanship.
Additionally, a bespoke wellness soundscape created with MindFidelity layers into the spa atmosphere with sounds recorded from British woodlands. The audio recordings have been carefully edited to make the woodland feel immersive, alive and still peaceful and relaxing. Birdsong will be heard throughout and all around you. A gentle wind will blow through the tree canopy above. Every hour, a gentle storm rolls across the soundscape, letting the rain soften the atmosphere.
Artwork in this collection includes a large textile installation by Ukrainian artist Anna Shepelieva, woodblock prints from Cumbrian yew trees by British artist Shona Branigan, and a ceramic art installation inside the pool area by Spanish artist Vanessa Martin.
