As the highly anticipated opening of Montcalm Mayfair approaches, we are delighted to offer an exclusive preview at Collect Fair 2025. Taking place at Somerset House from 28 February – 2 March 2025 (previews 26 & 27 February), Collect is the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design, presented by the Crafts Council.
At the heart of Montcalm Mayfair’s presence at Collect is our Collector’s Lounge—a space that embodies our philosophy of sensitive luxury. Designed in collaboration with interior studio Studio Est, the lounge is a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and artistic storytelling. This immersive space takes inspiration from the hotel’s core themes of the garden, art, and intellectual exchange, translating them into a setting that fosters connection and appreciation for contemporary craft.
A Celebration of Art and Craftsmanship
Montcalm Mayfair is committed to championing exceptional craftsmanship and sustainability. The Collector’s Lounge features a curated selection of artworks and handcrafted pieces from Montcalm Mayfair, designed to seamlessly blend contemporary creativity with the hotel’s historic Edwardian setting.
One of the highlights is a stunning eglomise artwork, hand-painted by Will Foster, whose intricate ceiling mural at Montcalm Mayfair serves as a centrepiece of the hotel’s design. In addition, bespoke furniture and textiles sourced from social-impact businesses will complement the space, reinforcing our dedication to ethical sourcing and responsible luxury.
