Montcalm Collection has announced a partnership with Rise Art to present ‘The Sound of Form’, a selection of artworks exploring the profound connection between sight and sound. This exhibition invites viewers on a journey that triggers memories and encourages them to immerse themselves in the emotions evoked by the pieces.
This partnership aims to create authentic experiences that inspire artists and foster engagement, reflection, and discovery, captivating visitors to Montcalm Royal London House. ‘The Sound of Form’ will be unveiled at Montcalm Royal London House on 13th February, featuring the work of four prominent artists:
• Brendan Neiland: Renowned for his distinctive ‘reflection’ images, Neiland is one of Britain’s leading printmakers and painters. His immersive paintings capture the dynamic energy of bustling cities. His work has been widely exhibited worldwide, including at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate.
• Habib Hajallie: An elected member of The Royal Society of British Artists, Hajallie was named on Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 list in 2023 and won The UK New Artist of the Year Award in 2022. His work celebrates figures from ethnically diverse backgrounds, often overlooked in traditional British portraiture.
• Simon Tatum: An award-winning writer and director, Tatum’s work explores themes of identity and culture, bringing a distinctive narrative perspective to the visual arts.
• Kate McCrickard: A painter, printmaker, and writer based in Paris, McCrickard’s works are held in collections such as The British Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The New York Public Library.
Additional contributors to the online collection include Alina Siau, Andrew Crane, Anysia Nefissi, Camille d’Alenco, Kevin Jackson, Kirsty Harris, Kjell Folkvord, Lucy Cade, Olga Shcheblykina, Sam Haynes, Sophie Bocher, Tom Waugh, and Yoni Alter.
