MyMONTCALM Loyalty Programme 

Terms and Conditions 

Part of the Montcalm Collection

1. Introduction 

1.1   These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern MyMontcalm Loyalty Programme (“Programme”), operated by Montcalm Collection (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in the Programme, members (“you”, “Member”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1.2   These Terms should be read alongside our Booking Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, both available on the Montcalm Collection website. In the event of any conflict, these Terms shall take precedence in relation to the Programme.

1.3   We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Programme or any of its benefits at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes. Continued participation in the Programme following notification of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. 

 

2. How to Join 

Becoming a MyMontcalm member is completely free. Join today and start earning rewards from your very first stay with us. 

2.1   The Programme is open to private individuals aged 18 years or over. 

2.2   Membership is personal to the individual and may not be shared, assigned, or transferred. 

2.3   Individual guests staying at a participating property under a corporate rate are eligible to earn points, provided the booking is made through an eligible channel as set out in Section 5 and the Member’s loyalty number is attached to the reservation. Corporate bookers, travel management companies, and third-party agents booking on behalf of guests are not eligible to earn points under the Programme. 

2.4   Employees of Montcalm Collection and its affiliated companies may be subject to separate eligibility conditions. 

2.5   Members may register via the Montcalm Collection website through MyMontcalm registration page, at the front desk of any participating property, or by telephone through our central reservations team. 

2.6   Upon successful enrolment, a confirmation email will be sent to the Member’s registered email address, along with their membership details and username. 

2.7   A membership number will be sent on email as proof of membership. Members must provide their membership number at the time of booking or check-in at any participating property in order to earn points and access Programme benefits. 

2.8   Upon successful registration, a Silver Membership account will be created and 500 complimentary joining points will be credited to the Member’s account as a welcome gift from the Programme. 

2.9   Each individual may hold only one membership account. Duplicate accounts may be merged or cancelled at our discretion without prior notice. 

2.10 Montcalm Collection reserves the right to decline or revoke membership at its absolute discretion. 

 

3. Participating Properties*

Note:  Certain properties within the Montcalm Collection portfolio are affiliated with third-party programmes (including Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection and Design Hotels) and do not participate in the MyMontcalm Loyalty Programme. Points may not be earned or redeemed at those properties through this Programme. Please see here for the most current list of participating properties. 

 

4. Membership Tiers 

4.1   The Programme operates across three membership tiers. Tier status is determined by the number of qualifying nights accumulated within a rolling 12-month period from the Member’s enrolment anniversary date.

5. How to Earn Points 

Every qualifying night you spend with us brings you closer to your next complimentary stay. The more often you stay with Montcalm Collection, the more you earn — and the faster you climb through the tiers. 

5.1   Points may only be earned on bookings made through the following eligible channels: online direct bookings via the official Montcalm Collection website while logged in to the Member’s account; telephonic bookings made directly through the Montcalm Collection central reservations team with the Member’s loyalty number provided at the time of booking; and corporate rate bookings made directly with a participating property or through Montcalm Collection’s central reservations team with the Member’s loyalty number provided at the time of booking. 

5.2   An eligible rate is any hotel room rate booked through the above channels that entitles a MyMontcalm member to earn points for their stay. 

5.3   Points will not be awarded on bookings made through third-party online travel agents (OTAs) including but not limited to Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, and similar platforms. Guests who book through any third-party channel will not receive MyMontcalm points for their stay, regardless of their membership status. 

5.4   Where a guest checks in under a booking made by a third-party booker or travel management company, neither the booker nor the guest will be eligible to earn points in connection with that booking, unless the guest has rebooked directly through an eligible channel prior to arrival. 

5.5   Points are not awarded on net wholesale individual or group rates, group discounted rates, employee rates, seasonal worker or crew rates, industry discount rates, or complimentary room stays of any kind. 

5.6   Points cannot be earned or redeemed in conjunction with any other hotel loyalty programme, including but not limited to Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, or any other third-party rewards scheme. MyMontcalm Programme operates independently and cannot be combined with any such programme. 

5.7   Please note that in the case of bookings made via a third party, any upgrade charge paid by the guest at check-in will not attract reward points. 

5.8   Points are awarded only on the net total amount you spend on your room per stay, excluding VAT and all taxes, food and beverage charges, spa treatments, parking, room service, telephone charges, laundry, service charges, and any other extras. Points are added to your account after check-out, once your payment has been fully processed and your membership number is attached to the reservation. 

5.9   Members earn 5 points for every £1 (GBP) spent on the net qualifying room rate, excluding VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). 

5.10  Points are earned in whole numbers only; fractional points will be rounded down. 

5.11   A Member may earn points for up to two hotel rooms booked at the same time, provided the Member is a registered guest, each room is booked in the Member’s name, the Member personally occupies at least one of the rooms, and the Member personally pays for all rooms. Occupants of the other rooms will not receive MyMontcalm points regardless of whether they are Programme members. 

5.12  Points cannot be earned in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, or third-party loyalty programme unless expressly stated by Montcalm Collection in writing. 

5.13  Members paying in a currency other than GBP will have the amount converted to GBP at the exchange rate applicable on their check-out date for points calculation purposes. 

5.14  A Member may earn points for stays dating no more than three (3) months prior to their joining the Programme, provided adequate booking documentation is supplied. 

5.15  Gold Members receive a 5% bonus on all base points earned per qualifying stay. Platinum Members receive a 10% bonus on all base points earned per qualifying stay. Bonus points are calculated on base points earned and credited to the Member’s account alongside standard points following check-out. 

 

6. How to Redeem Points 

Love staying at Montcalm Collection? Collect the requisite points and redeem them for a complimentary overnight stay at any of our participating properties — your loyalty, rewarded. 

6.1   Points may be redeemed against room stays at any participating Montcalm Collection property, subject to availability. 

6.2   The minimum balance required to make a redemption is 5,000 points. 

6.3   MyMontcalm points can be redeemed in two ways: as full payment towards a complimentary reward night stay, or as part payment towards the cost of a room night booking at any participating property, with the remaining balance settled directly at the time of booking. Points are not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit. Points have no cash value and cannot be purchased or sold. 

6.4   Points cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, discount, or third-party loyalty programme. 

6.5   To redeem points for a reward night stay, members must contact the reservations team at reservations@montcalmcollection.com with their preferred booking dates, property name, and number of rooms required. Reservations are subject to availability and must be arranged directly through the MyMontcalm Programme. 

6.6   For part-payment redemption bookings, a valid credit card guarantee must be provided at the time of booking. 

6.7   A minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice is required to redeem points for a reward night stay. 

6.8   There is a limited number of rooms available for reward night redemption on a daily basis. Reward night stays and upgrades are subject to availability and blackout dates apply. 

6.9   Points used for redemption will be deducted from the Member’s account at the time of booking confirmation. 

6.10  MyMontcalm reward nights are valid for standard guest rooms, Club rooms, and Suites, for single or double occupancy. Any additional guest is subject to applicable hotel charges, which must be paid directly to the hotel prior to check-out. 

6.11   Where points are used as part payment towards a room night booking, the value of the points redeemed will be deducted from the total room cost, and the remaining balance must be settled directly with the hotel at the time of check-out. The minimum redemption of 5,000 points applies to both full and part-payment redemptions. 

6.12  Reward night stays do not count as qualifying nights for tier progression purposes. 

6.13  Montcalm Collection reserves the right to restrict, suspend, modify, or substitute the reward night policy at any time without notice. 

6.14  MyMontcalm redemption reservations are subject to Montcalm Collection’s standard cancellation policy. If a Member cancels a redemption booking fewer than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival, 50% of the points redeemed for the first night will be deducted from the Member’s account. In the event of a no-show, 100% of the points redeemed for the first night will be deducted from the Member’s account. Points redeemed for any remaining nights of the booking will be reinstated. 

 

7. Tier Benefits 

As a MyMontcalm member, the more you stay, the more you unlock. Each tier builds on the last, rewarding your loyalty with an ever-richer experience at Montcalm Collection. 

 

7.1 Silver Membership 

As a Silver member, you will enjoy the full foundation of MyMontcalm benefits, including: 

  • 500 complimentary joining points credited upon enrolment as a welcome gift from the Programme. 
  • 5 points per £1 spent on the qualifying net room rate. 
  • 15% member discount on Best Available Rates via the Montcalm Collection website (logged-in online bookings only — see Section 9 for full conditions). 
  • Access to award redemption stays subject to limited blackout dates and availability. 
  • Stay 5 nights, pay for 4, subject to availability and direct booking requirement. 

 

7.2 Gold Membership 

  • As a Gold member, you will enjoy all Silver level privileges, plus: 
  • 5% bonus points on all qualifying stays. 
  • Late check-out, subject to availability (must be requested at check-in). 
  • A welcome amenity per stay, selected by the property and subject to change without notice. 
  • Enhanced room upgrade, excluding suites, subject to availability at the time of check-in. 

 

7.3 Platinum Membership 

  • As a Platinum member, you will enjoy all Gold level privileges, plus: 
  • 10% bonus points on all qualifying stays (supersedes the Gold 5% bonus). 
  • Early check-in from 1:00 pm, subject to availability and advance request. 
  • A welcome amenity per stay. 
  • Enhanced room upgrade, including suites, subject to availability at the time of check-in. 

All benefits marked ‘subject to availability’ are provided on a best-efforts basis and cannot be guaranteed. Surcharges may apply at selected properties*. 

 

8. Tier Status, Maintenance and Downgrade 

Tier status is reviewed annually on the anniversary of the Member’s enrolment date, based on qualifying nights accumulated in the preceding 12-month period. 

8.1   Gold Members must meet the Gold tier qualifying night threshold (30 to 59 nights) during the review year in order to retain Gold status the following year. If the Gold criteria are not met, the Member will be downgraded to Silver status with effect from the review anniversary date. 

8.2   Platinum Members must meet the Platinum tier qualifying night threshold (60 or more nights) during the review year in order to retain Platinum status the following year. If the Platinum criteria are not met, the Member will be downgraded to Gold status, provided they have met the minimum Gold qualifying nights requirement. If the Member has not met the Gold threshold either, they will revert to Silver status. 

8.3   Points already earned are unaffected by a tier downgrade. However, the Member will cease to be entitled to the benefits of the higher tier from the review date. 

8.4   Members may or may not be notified of any change in tier status by email to their registered address. 

 

9. Member Rate Discount (15%) 

9.1   All MyMontcalm members are entitled to a 15% discount on the Best Available Rate  at participating properties. 

9.2   This discount is available exclusively when the Member is logged into their MyMontcalm account and completes their booking directly via the Montcalm Collection official website. 

9.3   The 15% member discount is not available on telephonic bookings, walk-in bookings, third-party bookings, or any other channel. 

9.4   Rooms booked under this offer must be in the Member’s name. Rooms may not be booked for another party unless one of the rooms will be personally occupied by the Member. Members may earn points for up to four rooms per night under this offer, subject to the conditions of Section 5. 

9.5   This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, packages, special rates, promotional rates, or third-party loyalty or rewards programme. No cash alternative is available. 

9.6   Confirmed bookings cannot be retrospectively modified to include the 15% discount. 

9.7   Montcalm Collection reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time, with or without prior notice. Should the offer change or be discontinued, reservations already confirmed under the existing offer will be honoured as booked. 

 

10. Missing Points and Retrospective Claims 

10.1   If a Member believes points have not been correctly credited following a qualifying stay, they must contact the MyMontcalm Customer Care Team in writing, with a legible copy of the Member’s hotel folio, within three (3) months of the check-out date of the relevant stay. 

10.2   The hotel reserves the right to deny such credits if the Member fails to provide adequate documentation. Requests submitted after three months of the check-out date will not be accepted under any circumstances. 

10.3   All retrospective claims must be submitted to reservations@montcalmcollection.com 

10.4   Members can check their points balance, stay history, and account details by logging into their account at montcalmcollection.com. 

 

11. Points Expiry 

11.1   Points will remain valid for 24 months from the date of last qualifying activity on the Member’s account. Qualifying activity means earning or redeeming points in connection with a stay at a participating property. 

11.2   If no qualifying activity occurs within any 24-month period, all accumulated points will expire automatically without further notice. 

11.3   Montcalm Collection is not liable for any expired points and reserves the right to remove expired points without compensation. 

 

12. Non-Transferability of Points and Membership 

12.1   Points are personal to the registered Member and are strictly non-transferable. They may not be sold, gifted, bartered, assigned, or transferred to any other person or account under any circumstances. 

12.2   MyMontcalm points cannot be transferred between two accounts. A Member’s account cannot be used by any other person to accrue MyMontcalm points or benefits. 

12.3   MyMontcalm Programme cannot be used in conjunction with any other rewards programme. Points earned under MyMontcalm cannot be converted to, combined with, or transferred into any third-party programme including but not limited to Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, or any similar scheme. 

12.4   Any attempt to transfer, sell, or misuse points or membership benefits will result in immediate account suspension and permanent forfeiture of all accumulated points. 

 

13. Account Management and Membership Information 

13.1   Members are responsible for ensuring their account details, including name, email address, and contact information, are kept accurate and up to date. Account details can be managed at montcalmcollection.com. 

13.2   Members must notify MyMontcalm promptly of any change of address or username. 

13.3   Montcalm Collection reserves the right to audit Member accounts at any time and to correct any errors in points balances, whether in favour of or against the Member, without prior notice. 

13.4   In cases of suspected fraud or account manipulation, Montcalm Collection may suspend or terminate an account pending investigation. 

 

14. Account Suspension and Termination 

14.1   Members may close their account at any time by contacting us in writing at reservations@montcalmcollection.com. Upon closure, any accumulated points will be forfeited permanently and cannot be reinstated. 

14.2   Montcalm Collection reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Member’s account, and forfeit all accumulated points, in the event of fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest conduct in connection with the Programme; any material breach of these Terms; any attempt to manipulate, sell, or misuse points or membership benefits; or two or more consecutive years of account inactivity. 

14.3   Where reasonably practicable, we will notify the Member prior to termination, except where immediate action is required to protect the integrity of the Programme. 

 

15. Programme Changes, Notification and Termination 

15.1   At any time, with or without notice, Montcalm Collection reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel MyMontcalm regulations and rewards. Any changes will be reflected in the Terms and Conditions available and will be effective immediately unless stated otherwise. We will endeavour to notify MyMontcalm Members of any changes to these Terms but will not be liable for any failure to do so. 

15.2   In the event that the Programme is discontinued or terminated in its entirety, Montcalm Collection will endeavour to provide Members with reasonable advance notice of the termination date. No new points will be awarded beyond the Programme termination date. 

15.3   MyMontcalm points will not be awarded beyond the termination date of a Member’s participation in the Programme. Following Programme termination, Members will be permitted to redeem any points remaining in their account for a period of six (6) months from the termination date. Any points not redeemed within this six-month window will expire automatically and no compensation will be payable. 

15.4   Once the Programme is no longer active, Members will not be able to redeem points after the six-month redemption window has closed, regardless of the balance held. 

15.5   Points have no monetary value, are not the property of the Member, and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances. 

 

16. Force Majeure 

16.1   Montcalm Collection shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under the Programme arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, epidemic, government restrictions, war, terrorism, fire, flood, industrial action, or systems failure. In such circumstances, Montcalm Collection will use reasonable endeavours to restore normal Programme operations as soon as practicable. 

 

17. Limitation of Liability 

17.1   To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Montcalm Collection’s liability in connection with the Programme is limited to direct losses arising from its proven negligence. 

17.2   Montcalm Collection shall not be liable for loss of points or benefits due to technical failures, system errors, cyber incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control; the failure of any third party to honour Programme benefits; any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation in or exclusion from the Programme; or any loss arising from the expiry, forfeiture, or non-accrual of points in accordance with these Terms. 

17.3   Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. 

 

18. Data Protection and Privacy 

18.1   At Montcalm Collection, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy. We collect and use your personal information to provide you with a superior service and to keep you informed. You may unsubscribe from any or all marketing communications at any time via your account settings or by contacting dpo@montcalmcollection.com. 

18.2   As a strict company policy, Montcalm Collection will not disclose any of your personal data to other parties, other than those who require access to your data to provide you with a service within Montcalm Collection and/or our trusted partner network. 

18.3   Full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, and your rights as a data subject, are set out in our Privacy Policy available at montcalmcollection.com, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 

 

19. Governing Law and Disputes 

19.1   These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

19.2   If you have a complaint or query relating to your membership or points balance, please contact our loyalty team in the first instance at reservations@montcalmcollection.com. We aim to acknowledge all queries within 5 working days and resolve them within 28 days. 

19.3   Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. 

 

20. General 

20.1   If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. 

20.2   A failure by Montcalm Collection to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right. 

20.3   These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Member and Montcalm Collection in relation to the Programme and supersede all prior representations, agreements, or understandings.
