This Buddhist garden is located just outside the Imperial War Museum, and first opened in 1999. Though often overlooked, the gardens are a fitting tribute to nature and the quest for world peace. There are sculptures through the Tibetan Peace Gardens, as well as inscriptions in various languages, each offering a poignant message to other cultures. In the heart of Finsbury Square, you’ll find a commemorative drinking fountain made of stone. This structure was placed there by Thomas and Walter Smith, sons of confectionary pioneer and inventor, Tom Smith.
